"The food was so delicious! It was my first time having a Thai styled vegetarian options which was mine blowing as I never knew certain foods would taste like real meat. There isn't much parking I would recommend to catch public transport or an uber. We celebrated a friends birthday it was a great atmosphere, highly recommended."

"Enjoyed a fantastic evening at Thai Rock for a Isan Thai Banquet, The food was fresh, delicious and well presented. David and Stephanie and the team did a wonderful job of welcoming us and making us feel at ease and well looked after. David's recommendations from the bar paired perfectly with the food and enhanced the experience. Will definitely visit again."

"I am here a few times and every time more and more disappointed with the service here. After I have lived in japan, where even almost food restaurant service is impeccable, I am so disappointed that the Japanese employees at this place have the feeling that they have. the customer service can forget because they are in sydney. my Japanese friend was also disgusting. eating was average, but that doesn't make a service. it seems that this is a trend in all restaurants of this chain, with mapping next door, just as bad."

"I really like this place. Although some of the staff are unfriendly, but the dim sam is really authentic and tasty. They have ton of variety and i feel like hong kong here. I nearly over ordered and the staff stop me from ordering, if she didn't stop me i might suffer food coma lol. Miss this place so much. I must go bank if i visit sydney again."

"I absolutely love the Phad Thai, it’s as authentic as what you can get in Bangkok too. The pineapple fried rice is good too! Recommended to visit!"

"Visiting Single O in Sydney was an amazing experience when it comes to pure black single origin coffee. It doesn’t take long to realize that Australia is a espresso based milk beverage country. According to the Square Coffee Report 2019, 74% of all coffees served in a café were milk beverages (latte: 27%, flat white: 25%, cappuccino: 20%, and piccolo: 2% . That is massive compared to other countries. This is also why the baristas here in Australia are milk texturing robots. Single O launched an interesting black coffee model to emphasizing on the purest way to enjoy coffee – single origin black coffee: TAP-IN: “We launched black coffee on tap at our Surry Hills café in early 2019. The Freepour Taps were created to shake things up at the coffee bar, in the name of single origins. (Which we’ve had a thing for since 2003. We set about to give pure black filter coffee as much precedence as the espresso machine. The result was a self-pay self-serve, coffee on tap system, front center, at your fingertips.” I enjoyed a tasty single origin coffee from Costa Rica – Finca La Manita. While sipping this coffee chilled on ice, I enjoyed reading about their farm trip to Fina La Manita in 2013. It is always great to see when roaster engage in long-term relationships with farmers. I also liked the colorful chairs to sit outside against the nicely spray-painted wall. And one little extra: they made sure, that I won’t run away with the toilet key. Too big to run! And one more thing: it is also nice to see, that many cafés are using recycled toilet paper. The details make the difference. A big thank you also to the baristas for their great hospitality and the time to explain the TAP-IN system, that was cool. THANK YOU. #traceability #singleorigin #coffee #workflowautomation #workflowsolutions #makecoffeebetter"

"Good upmarket Thai restaurant with backing from expat David Thompson. The basement dining room is dark and funky however some tables you find yourself stuck in little dark corners where no waiter can be found.

The menu is very good with some great options however many dishes are very spicy - Thai spicy not Australian spicy therefore some may be put off by the intense heat. Highlights include the Fried Rice with Spanner Crab, Smashed Prawn Curry and the awesome Durian Ice Cream (using fresh Durian for Durian lovers only!)

The two times I've been the service has been only average which is a shame considering the prices and small serves should command better. Casual Thai spot Home Thai is almost as good at a fraction of the price."
