"We visited Mother's Day, probably one of the busiest days of the year for a family-friendly chain restaurant like this. Nevertheless, the service was good, there was no special waiting time for the food and the children had a good time. Main dishes are a little expensive for what they are, but there is usually a sort of deal on. We had a main purchase for free. The children's menu was very good."

"Staff polite but not attentive. When you sit down for dinner and the first thing you hear is a long list of not available meals and a list of the only last ones available does not set the right mood for the night. The food we could order was nice but we had to ask for drinks and we were just left. The management need to look at improving and stock up the kitchen. At the end both card machines run out out paper so no receipts. We will not rush back any time soon. Disappointing."

"A beautifully decorated pub with spacious garden area on the back. Very pleasant. Stopped for coffee only. Was served the smallest latte I have ever had. Wished I went for normal coffee as it was served in a standard size cup."

"First time here and won't be the last. Lovely old fashioned pub with outdoor seating, covered and uncovered. Warm welcome from the lovely lady behind the bar and we were doted on. Service was excellent. The difference in a trip out when people actually engage with you rather than just plop your food down. Grub was excellent and the low prices made it a double win. A thoroughly first class experience, thank you"
