"Good food, chips, and sides. Chips from a reputable chip shop that have been properly cooked. There are currently many screens up for social distancing, and we're impressed with how the team works in such a hot environment. Service that is pleasant. I would recommend it."

"It was easy to book a reservation online. We were greeted at the door warmly and directed to the lounge where afternoon tea is served. The room was gorgeous and even though there were several other parties there as well everyone was seated away from each other strategically for more privacy. The staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the menu. The tea was delicious as was the food. I would definitely recommend and will be returning myself."

"This restaurant was very nice and the food was very good. The service was a little slow to be honest, but I think maybe they were under personnel. The restaurant was not full. The empty glasses were never removed from our table, so we ended up with about 20 empty glasses on the table. There was also no gluten-free desert option that was very disappointing I indicated in advance that one of the guests had celiac, please put at least one gluten-free desert option on the menu deserts are quite easy to make gluten-free. A few more gluten-free versions of the appetizers and nets would also be good, e.g. appetizers that could come with bread served with GF bread or crackers."

"More employees than customers (x2 tables in the whole restaurant on a Friday night! and even when they are not attentive, x2 different members of the staff advise the drinks menu is terrible, bad needs updating and so said more than once we have been able to have the drinks we wanted as they do or do not have them available. Chicken was really terrible, dry and chew at £17.50 expect it to be cooked at least well, the pig was nice. Dessert was nice, but there was no menu so she wrote for us on paperwork. The restaurant looks lovely, simply empty and unfortunatley when you are sitting close to the windows and up to the headlights the spiders where huge! Noone cleaned up there"
