"Local(ish) cafe /restaurant to us and consequently we eat here quite a bit. The staff are always top notch, food is always served promptly and we'll presented, hot and generous portions. Great home cooked meals and the quality shows as its always busy. A little gem of a place that's a little off the beaten track, but do yourself a favour and take the detour to eat here. You won't be dissapointed. Well done cosy corner, reputation deserved."

"Highly recommend this restaurant in Portnoo ! As a group of 8 adults we made last min reservation on a Thurs evening in Michaelangelos, the food exceeded all expectations! Most ordered the chicken/ beef curry 1 x hake dish. Fresh veg, beautiful flavours, everything served hot. And a good pint of Guinness young staff on shift also very polite and efficient ! Thank you"
