"Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the way we were treated by the landlord last night!He was extremely rude and made us feel very unwelcome! My family and I had come to stay with relatives and this was our first visit to the pub,having booked a...table the previous evening,we were told that we could sit of us in the back room by a female member of staff.As we were from households. When we arrived the young waitress was absolutely lovely sat us down at the table.we sat of us round one table and older children at the table next to us.The waitress had no issues with this,however when the landlord came in he shouted at us that we couldn't have round one table,when we explained that we had asked if we could sit together on the phone previously he told us that no one would have told us that insinuating we were lying,we tried to explain that we had been to a pub last week and they had sat us all on one table he started shouting telling us that was breaking the law he wouldn't pay a fine for us in fact he got louder and louder and we felt extremely uncomfortable.We have no objection if this is the policy for his pub,but there is a way of communicating with people and that certainly was not an appropriate way to speak to anyone let alone paying customers.Needless to say we left and will not be returning!If the landlord was that concerned about following the government guidelines it may be worth mentioning that NONE of the staff were wearing masks or shields, and the tables in the pub were not entirely well distanced from one another,on entry there was no track and trace system in place and not at any point were we asked for our details,our tables were sticky with no signs to say they had been cleaned and sanitized.So if you are following the COVID guidelines so well that you cany allow people round a table why are all the other guidelines not being adhered to?Unfortunately we actually felt that we were singled out because we were not locals."

"Where do I start?! So at I get a phone call informing me that there is no hot water on our floor. They immediately offered a full refund, or could give some form of compensation. Because we'd been looking forward to our one night...stay for months, and we're already in Glastonbury leaving home at we took the compensation off). The staff are amazing, friendly made us feel like regulars and old friends! The food was lovely we had dinner and breakfast there. Lovely varied choice, still gutted there was no banoffee pie left but the brownie was a chocolate lovers dream! A lovely place with wonderful staff and atmosphere."

"We visited on Easter Saturday and the Litton was very busy. We had a delicious meal, my husband and my son's partner said that the fish pie was the best they had ever tasted. Our son and I had vegan options on the menu which...were really tasty and beautifully presented. The customer service was excellent, the staff were attentive and polite but didn't interrupt our conversation. They have a young team who seemed really well trained . The pub is in a lovely location and they have comfortable external lounge seating which was great to relax in before we ate on a sunny afternoon. We had originally booked an internal table and decided because it was such a lovely day to sit outside. The staff were very accommodating. All in all a great experience so we will be back."

"We have used The Redan Inn now for both our wedding reception and our first baby shower and cannot fault them at all. Not only did they provide us with a tailor made affordable experience but made sure that everything was accounted for and taken care of. Our most recent event at the Redan was our baby shower and the food was absolutely top notch. I would recommend them time and time again and will most likely book again for our babies christening party. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication to creating such a memorable event for us!"
