"So happy to have found a place like this nearby. Came today for lunch and all the food was amazing sharing mezze starter, followed by incredible sea bass main and a sticky toffee pudding. The rest of the menu looked great. We'll definitely be back! Thanks for looking after us. Cosy atmosphere, friendly and relaxed, exciting menu perfect pub!"

"The staff are really helpful and accommodating. The food is fantastic. I can thoroughly recommend the Scotch egg, cooked to perfection, the burger which has fantastic flavour my mum said she thought it was the best burger she'd ever eaten, and the chocolate mousse is just sublime."

"Awful pub, went there on a Sunday lunchtime, only 1 man in there, not sure if barmaid spoke English as she didn't answer me when I ask if a beer was a lager no nice lagers at all only carling, not going there again.1star rating as they don't do zero."

"We have just left The Stag after spending a lovely afternoon there for lunch. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Our group all had a two course meal and the food was amazing. The Pork Belly and Beef Brisket were both lovely. The pub is beautifully decorated inside. We will definitely be visiting again."
