"Came here for waffles with my partner and as nice as the waffles were, the service was very poor and none of the staff were wearing masks or any PPE. They were reusing the same menus for customers without cleaning them, and within this current climate I wouldn’t recommend going here when there’s plenty of independent restaurants doing as much as they can to be COVID safe. They gave us the wrong change also and were very rude when we asked for the right amount back, after having to ask twice for the right amount they finally reluctantly gave us the right amount of change. Waffles good, service and cleanliness awful."

"Ordered 2 x breakfasts and waited over 50mins for it to arrive at table, when i asked they apologised and that whats it. Not great because if i was told they was a wait on food I would of gone somewhere else. Not good"

"Not bod all in all, the food was definately the best thing about it as we did not have a great booking experience to be honest. We clearly asked for a downstairs table as one of our party of 6 was disabled and the table staff just plain and simply did not read the notes, they did however admit fault and was able to place some tables together downstairs so all well that ends well. Was quite a cramped and noisy atmosphere but otherwise a decent place to go eat."

"Checked into the premier inn next door after a 5hr drive, unpacked and walked to Thyme. Waited a couple of minutes as there was no greeter on the door. The restaurant was obviously two thirds empty yet we were asked to wait whilst he seated a booking who were behind us. On his return he asked us to wait 15 minutes before he could find us a table. Pretty sure I could see several myself. Needless to say we didn't stick around."

"Very enjoyed our meal at the harvester, but I would strongly recommend that they book directly in the restaurant as our booking had not reached them, we were very happy that a table was available for us as the time we wanted, everyone later we would not have been able to get the place as we are fully booked!"
