"Attempted to eat here as part of a canal trip. Called up after making the reservation and told they’re not doing food as the person is the only one there. Said in an rude accusatory way like I somehow should have known that! In general such a bizarre phone call and experience. Woody have been told this otherwise as booking all went through fine, and we would not have been able to eat that evening."

"If your anywhere nr Rugby, you must visit this pub. Don’t be put off by the outside appearance, there’s a warm welcome awaiting you when you enter this pub. I would say 75% of the menu can be made GF and all the food on the specials board. I had the braised brisket and it melted in your mouth, also the GF Sticky toffee pudding was delicious. All the staff totally understand GF and the importance of cross contamination. We will definitely revisiting this pub when we next make a trip up the M1."

"This is a pub we’ve lunched at many times in the past and our first time since the new owners took over. Whilst the food was good, I too found it overpriced, especially for the children’s meal. Two fish goujons, chips and peas….not much return for £7!! (Could have served up four goujons at least). Sweets starting at £7 , no thank you. The blonde behind the bar was far from customer-friendly. We won’t be returning, sadly. On to pastures new……"
