"Fantastic evening, we had the floorless dinner for our friends. the personal was attentive and friendly, especially josh, he was fantastic and made us so welcome. really amazing value for money and excellent eating. my only criticism is that there are more possibilities for those who are gluten-free. but overall a brilliant evening!"

"We started with scallops and black pudding with garlic cheesebread. it was very well presented. for the net we had fish and chips and steak sandwich. the fish was with a beacon and the chips were made fresh. the steak sandwich was again excellent with fresh chips. I have not seen any signs that eating was prepared or cooked in a bag. it looked and tasted freshly prepared. the waiter wanted to make our culinary experience a good one and he succeeded. the cook came and had a word with us and I said he needed to annoy the owners to market the place better. it was only a few weeks open, we canceled a table in the clarence to try this and we were not disappointed. if they read that, they might think I have a connection to the restaurant, but I don't. I never liked the bar so much, but bury had only two options to eat (automatic) for the city center. now it's three. on the bottom we were the only diners on a Friday night they need to advertise the food was great. a page, they only take food orders until this is a bit early for some diners. I hope they can meet a balance between a flourishing bar / late evening and a culinary experience."

"Nice eating, but unfortunately the service was not great, they were clearly short workers, so that table service was slow and the drinks did not arrive until after the food came, which also took a dae. but the staff did their best and the manager was very apologetic for the bad service. it would not stop us to come back, although eating was excellent and hopefully many choices next time when we go, they were able to recruit the staff for such a busy restaurant."
