"Having lived in beautiful Hamburg for going on 5 years, I struggle to understand that some reviewers claim L'Europeo to the best Italian in the city. I can easily think of 6-8 restaurants that are clearly better!But that being said L'Europeo is defintely a good restaurant. The terrace is very nice and the service is OK (but not more). As starter I had some quite uninteresting Calamaretti (just deep fried and with a slice of lemon...) followed by a well cooked rabbit (but again nothing special). The wine card has a strong selection and the wines are tempered (wine refrigerator), very nice! Not impressed as such, but I will eventually come back here....."
