"My parents were visiting me in Munich and wanted to eat Italian food for dinner. Piccola Italia was close to their hotel, so we gave it a try - and we weren't disappointed. The place itself is rather small, which contributes to its charm, and it is cosily furnished and decorated with much care resulting in a welcoming living room atmosphere. The service was friendly and the food was prepared very fast although the restaurant was packed. We ordered small salads, pizzas, and pasta and everything was delicious. The salads were fresh, the pizzas were made with fresh ingredients (e.g. fresh mushrooms) and baked in a wood-fired oven. Also, the Lambrusco was very tasty (fruity but not too sweet). All in all, a very positive experience!!"
