"The food surprised my expectations and the menu was quite unique. I enjoyed the bulgogi sandwich on squid ink bread and we also got the chicken platter. The vanilla lavender drink was really good. The natural lighting and all the plants made this a niceplace to visit, hangout and take pictures. I wish I could try some of the cakes."

"! Simply excellent! beautiful place, the stay there feels very relaxing, due to the exterior beauty, you can find mid-priced dishes, I chose a 3-course menu, which had a Chef's Daily soup, a rousted mushroom ravioli, one of the best I've ever had I have eaten so far and a chocolate cake, the portions are not small (beware those who eat little) all is good. Although we were a group of 22 people (note that you have to book at no cost online or by phone) Lauren and Daniela attended us efficiently and above all very friendly and were attentive to all the details, in short a place to return, congratulations Burnaby Mountain Restaurant team, good job ! Buen trabajo chicos ! to improve, due to the number of clients that day, perhaps more frequently in cleaning the bathrooms that were not dirty but not clean either."

"The BEST bingsoo I have eaten so far. The thought in constructing this piece of art is amazing! Extra thick bowl, textural contrasts, balanced flavours and not overly sweet, can't ask for more. Looking forward to coming back and try their other flavours."

"I recently discovered this place and really enjoyed the ice cream and cake. However, I won't return due to the staff's attitude and the establishment's policy. Today, I purchased ice cream, cake, and tea. I also brought a salad with me, intending to have a balanced dinner. Unfortunately, when I opened my salad, I was informed that bringing your own food was not allowed. Many restaurants allow this, especially when dining with a group where not everyone may want items from the menu. Since this place only serves sweets, I couldn't order a salad, I would, if they had. This left me in a dilemma. Did they expect me to buy more sweets simply because I couldn't eat anything else? Excessive sweets aren't healthy, and this logic didn't make sense to me. My salad was already open, so I asked if I could finish it this time and promised not to bring my own food in the future. They firmly declined. I contemplated eating my salad outside with my hands since I didn't have any cutlery even, at the same time I couldn't take it home already. Eventually, I left it for the staff and left feeling hungry. I won't return due to this strange policy. There are other similar places nearby, and I'll choose them instead. As a suggestion to the management, consider putting up a sign to inform customers that bringing outside food is prohibited to avoid any confusion in the future."
