"Got at 8:00 in the store and it's my girlfriend's birthday and they won't sell me a cupcake because the lady started to literally count the money when I got there. Shame on you Gigis Cupcakes, not back. And that was one of my favorite places."

"Not terrible, but not quite stellar. We stopped a quick lunch in the theatre district on a weekday. It wasn't too busy and we were tempted by greeting at the door and sandwich board advertising $10 lunch combos. We started with some sweet potato wafers that were delicious! Perfectly crack on the outside, soft inside, dusted with a light coating and finished with flocculous salt. We both ordered the midday combs, my was the pulled chicken sandwich with a white bean and tomato soup. They sent out the soup separately so that they contain an ashes of tomato salad that was really good! The soup was a little fat for my taste I didn't expect. I saw something creamy, but that was almost like a chili. The sandwich was also surprisingly dry. I showed me a delicious meat in the sauce, but it was like regularly seasoned chicken pieces. The Cuban sandwich was kind of beating without much pig. So... there's room for improvement, but the staff and the ambience were warm and welcoming. Hopefully the food starts!"

"My wife is basically allergic to everything, so finding stuff she can't eat without paying for it later is always a good thing. Her diet basically lines up with vegan. This place a solid amount of vegan cakes to choose from, so if you're vegan, this is your spot. Each slice is 7 bucks, but I get it, everything is made in house and vegan ingredients aren't cheap. They also have a decent coffee menu to choose from. Once again, everything is fully vegan. A hemp milk drinkers dream. I got a maple spice latte, which was pretty good, and my wife opted for a toasted marshmallow hot chocolate--which was way too sweet for either of us, and pretty sure it went unfinished. I'm the summer they have gelato, and the menu seemed quite extensive on that front. When we went there was only one person working, so service can appear slow--but be patient, it's good stuff."
