"Unbelievable. This place was hidden on a side street in Chinatown, Honolulu. We were served by the owner of Acapulco. The sandwich is a Mexican tortta that is baked and grilled, and it has the best pork carnitas on it with fresh clantro, cheese, tomatoes and Mayo. It was so good. The salsa was spicy and as perfect as he becomes. The tacos with ground beef had mixed little potatoes, and also the beans of the chalupa. We get Mexican food everywhere we go, and we had it several times in Texas, but Tracy and I agreed this place would take the cake. She said the rice was the best she ever had. 5 highly recommended."

"Monday special was Moniko chicken. And it was amazing. Reminded me of tangsuyuk (Korean-Chinese sweet and sour chicken). Comes with rice (brown/white/hapa) and potato mac salad. Original and filling lunch!"

"Loved their happy hour $2 tacos, which are everyday from 12 5. The tomatillo sauce goes greeaatt with the chicken tacos, which are probably dark meat so they were definitely juicy, and were probably my favorite (coming from someone who usually picks beef pork over chicken . Only downside is sometimes it seems like the chefs forget about your orders so our waitress had to go back and remind them after we waited for half an hour, and once the chefs were reminded our tacos did come out pretty quick. Also i wish service from the servers were a bit quicker, but they were understandably busy. Otherwise, would definitely come back for their $2 tacos and if you drink, $4 margaritas."

"I have ordered something else at Scratch that I did not like (highly recommend the Pork and Apple Pasta). The mood is very casual, so it is a great place to go with friends (but a bit too casual for a romantic date imo). Not much other to say the kitchen really knows what they do and the waiters often check it is just a solid place that deserves to thrive."
