"In our first night in tijuana was suggested that we try the foodgarden. as it was cautious to get food poisoning and ruin our entire trip (as these are open air food trucks,) we have skipped it. in our last night, on the persistence of all that we met. we finally tried. wow! don't make our mistakes. the eating was excellent- super friendly staff, many of which spoke English. our favorite was creperie la luna. we had followed for dinner savory crepes and then with a sweet cream for dessert. they were the best crepes we ever had."

"The best Tacos al pastor in Baja, and possibly Mexico. They have been coming to Tacos El Paisano for years and are never disappointed. Tacos are served with guacamole, sliced onions, cilantro and their in house red or green sauce. I prefer the red that is served with a... side of grilled spring onions. Also try the Tacos de tripas (Ku-Darm), they do not leave you down. There is a wealth of tacos spots to choose in Tijuana, but this place is a jewel. When you come to Tijuana, ask a taxi driver for Tacos El Paisano in Las Ahumaderas (aka Taco Alley)."

"They do 1 thing here and you can get it 2 ways. Carne Asada in a taco or a torta and I go here almost every time I surf in Baja. A couple days a week they do an Al Pastor option too that you have to get occasionally to mix it up."
