"We saw this place on the Food channel and it was a definite must go to on my Google maps! We came here looking for the Brunch Burger and it was discontinued. That was a bummer, but no fear, Deliciousness was near! We opted for the Breakfast Sage Sausage Sandwich and it was a Grand Slam!!! The Brioche Bun soaked up the juice from the Sausage and that flavorful aioli and the Rosemary red skin potatoes made a great side. And to top it off Mimosa!!!"

"Excellent dinner, great location, waitress was awesome knowledgeable of menu items, great portions, reasonable pricing. All this makes for a repeat visit. Seafood gumbo had tomatoes corn, not typical but lots of crawfish tails. Seafood etouffee was decent, although the shrimps were a bit undercooked. Chicken pasta special was top notch. Blue salad was on point. Beignets were on the dense side, not airy. Calamari was a killer with added arugula marinara sauce."

"This place lives up to the hype, for sure. Again, all pricing on Main street is obscene, so be ready for that. Cocktails here are fine. We are not huge wine people, but that is probably the move here. The lobster bisque is truly magical. You have to order this if you come to Riverhorse. We ordered this and the buffalo tartare. They split the bisque into two presentations for us. Very classy and it was delicious. The buffalo tartare was one of the best (if not the best) we have every had. And we are big tartare enthusiasts. For the mains, we shared the crusted halibut and the veal shank. There was a lot of chatter about the halibut on Yelp, but this was a let down. The fish itself was a bit dry and the potatoes had some intense lemon flavor that was tasty, but felt strange on the plate. I also did not understand the purpose of the mango sauce. The veal shank was AMAZING. It was juicy and tender and came with the most delicious truffle cream sauce. On the side was an artichoke with pesto pasta on top. A strange presentation choice, but the artichoke was delicious and the pesto was very good. Unfortunately the linguini was overcooked, but it didn't take much away from the dish. We had a chocolate cake for dessert (a gift from the kitchen for our anniversary) that was just fine. I wouldn't judge it to harshly since it wasn't a menu item. I would be very excited to come back to this establishment. The service was amazing throughout the meal. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating."
