"Since I've done reviews, this is the first time I've given any establishment five well deserved stars. I was introduced to Pesce Pasta around 1996, when it was under a different owner. The current owner was a young waiter then, and every time I ate there (previously, every Friday evening), I always ate the same dish, which wasn't part of the regular menu or specials, it was created for me, and today, whenever I visit, not as frequently as before, the owner remembers the dish. I took a dear friend for dinner this evening, as a pre-birthday gift, and surprisingly, the owner wasn't there; he was on a well-deserved day off. His son who was running the restaurant attended us and ensured I had my usual. The portion was slightly less than I was accustomed, but just as tasty and enjoyable. In the years since going to this restaurant, whether during the week or weekend, it was always packed, sometimes waiting for 30 minutes for a table. I was afraid that they might have been affected by the pandemic, but they seemed to have weathered it well; tonight, the dining room was packed, each table occupied and the staff attentive to everyone, as if they were an extended family, as they all seem."

"Steamed calamari anyone?. My brother has been going here for over twenty years.<br/ I have been hearing tales of Vincent's for over twenty years. <br/ Finally, I manage to get to eat a late lunch, early dinner at Vincent's. Fresh bread dipped in olive oil. A Caprese appetizer. Steamed calamari with medium sauce on top and Vincent's famous hot sauce on the side with a dish of pasta to round things out. The bread was fresh. The pasta el dente. The calamari was perfect. My brother did not over embellish. It was as expected. Very, very good."

"I absolutely love the ambiance of this restaurant in Little Italy. The food was delicious and so worth the walk from SOHO. My favorite is the Pizza and wine. The staff and owner were friendly and accommodating with my requests. Been there multiple times when I go to NY."

"We were not prepared for how rowdy this restaurant was! Groups are seated at long tables right next to other groups, so you have to either make friends or really lean in to hear the members of your own group speak. We were right next to the 2-person band that played a 20-minute set at top volume, including (literally) a song when everyone was supposed to stand on their chairs and wave their napkins. The food itself was quite good: hearty portions, good flavors and textures. Our server was really surly with us. He walked off having taken a drink order for only 2 of 3 people in our group, and forgot to bring things we ordered twice. And he was not at all amused when we asked to have a table further from the music--it's ok that it wasn't possible to reseat us, but at least don't be angry we asked. So overall, the rowdy energy and surly waiter overshadowed the pretty good food."

"It's been 8 months since I've been to Forlini's, and that's a sin. But the portions are so large that it only makes sense that I space my visits, right? RIGHT?Seriously, stop in for pasta I love their linguini and anything seafood.Friendly staff, full bar, old school Italian joint that's perfect for a family gathering, or even a date. Forlini's is a gem."
