"I really wanted to like this food. It all looked so good. But it was just average. Mediocre as my husband put it. I got the Crab stack 2.0. The eggplant didn't have much taste. The crab and shrimp were ok. The crawfish étouffée also didn't have much flavor. My husband had the chicken fried steak. Wasn't seasoned very well. Like I said, just average. For the price it really isn't worth it. The atmosphere was good and the service was great at the time we went. Which was about 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon."

"I have always enjoyed the Hofbraus in the Bay Area and their rustic cafeteria-style ambiance but this particular Hofbrau will become my favourite because of their Friday special, Miners Bones, braised Prime Rib on the Bone. We were a party of five and I was the first to arrive so I went to the bar and ordered an Old Fashioned. It's a very nice full bar with TV's. Once everyone arrived, we lined up for our delectable delights. Only 3 of us ordered the Miners Bones which were straight out of the Flintstones and very meaty. The only thing that was missing was a finger bowl as the bones were covered in a savory sticky sauce. Believe me, I will be planning my next visit to the Bay Area to include a Friday so I can partake of Harry's Hofbrau's Friday special, The Miners Bones."

"Good food very popular place for breakfast. Came on a Saturday at 10. Just 5 minutes. About 25 minutes are waiting for food. Meal was pretty good. Nice selection. 7 o'clock. UPDATE: Came back for chicken waffles. At the same table beside the swinging doors to the kitchen (small lively area to sit for a quiet breakfast). Next visit I ask a seat outside or in front near the windows. The food was nice again."

"Go to Soileau's!. I loved this place. I brought my family here a few days ago and things were perfect! There was a huge table in the back room and the floor was loaded, but our waitress was great and food didn't take too long. It took about 30 min, but that is expected. We never had to ask for refills and we LOVED the old feel of the place. I ordered the stuffed peppers, and they were great. The food comes in huge servings and has the home-made taste. Eat at Soileaus!"

"Had never visited this location so I dropped in for a spontaneous dinner. I was not disappointed. The hostess greeted us upon entry and quickly sat us. Our waitress approached in a timely fashion. We asked for suggestions and she gave just that. We endedup ordering the crawfish dip and sharing the fried chicken. The food was good and I'd order it again."
