"We were first timers to the pheasant inn and was really looking forward to it as it looked lovely and the menu was really good,we were told there was no mash which was a part of both our meals only to be replaced with a small cube of dauphinois potatoes,the meals were very underwhelming,then our desserts came out cold which were replaced with two more which were barely luke warm,the staff never once tended to us to ask if everything was ok,a family was on a neighbouring table,after they left,the crayons and paper was left on the floor and were still there by the time we left which was an hour later, overall a very disappointing experience which is such a shame because the pheasant itself is lovely on the outside and inside,but unfortunately we left thinking we would never come back."
