"This is my first visit at the Southport location. I waited in line 3 people ahead of me. So, I waited in line the sandwich maker was new on the job as I heard. He didn't bother to acknowledge me! Another clerk who was training him told me to be patient? I had not said a thing? Curious, I waited and noticed that the lady customer ahead of me was waiting for her sandwiches there seemed to be a mix up? And they had to redo her order and a guy next to me was waiting on his to be done. Then 2 other guys were waiting for there food too! And still this sandwich maker didn't say the proper saying nor bother to look up at me. I could have walked out? But I didn't still waiting, the trainee says What do you want? I asked my question, He said I don't know? Let me ask a manager? Waiting again then he says NO I'm not mad, But 1st you don't look up say the stores slogan? Then still don't acknowledge me the customer, I told both of them I understand, the manager was new at this location he works at the Lincoln Square Potbelly Shop. I told the manager he apologized and gave me a free cookie! And again apologizes for the situation. Another lady clerk asks me what sandwich did I order? I didn't I just wanted a Strawberry Shake and I bought 1 Sugar Cookie, and these bagged Cheesy Puffs. And I got a Free Sugar Cookie, due to an error. Then the manager says I'm so sorry you were treated that way we are not supposed to ignore you the customer but he's new? I thought so. Then he offered up a free sandwich on the house? I said sure, But I won't come back to this Southport location! I can do the Lincoln Square shop it's closer to me. He said Hey that's my old store? He seemed much happier. Just let me know when you pop in. Sure, later in the weeks? Then I paid for my Strawberry Shake, Cheesy Puffs and my 1 Sugar Cookie. By the way these are the best cookies these are large thin Sugar Cookies. I also love there Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies too! They have great Ice Cream Shakes, On a cone too! But I craved for a Shake. They had outdoor seating in front of Potbelly's and everyone on the street were sitting outdoors eating or drinking. Plus they had a Farmer's Market a few doors down. And I just wanted a Strawberry Shake before heading home."

"I was a manager for Wendy and this Wendy is not ok the drive thu was long I still had to come in cuz my order didn’t have what i ordered plus it’s a long line inside the customers were irritated like we like the food but the service is not good at all communication and the team it self was not welcoming just like any ole restaurant nothing different I don’t like comen here cuz of this"

"Order a BLTA and Soup, I must of throw them off with the soup because thats all I got was Soup. Who staples a Potbelly bag closed after just putting soup in it. Why waste paper on receipts if your not going to confirm that's whats in the bag? Don't fire the kid that did it fire the manager who train the kid."

"I think they had a good day or something because I swear my chicken sandwich was bussing busing. it tasted so tender, it seemed as if they went on the back and killed the huh. the tomato and the salate were so freshly sworn that they had a garden back there and chose it themselves. as you can read in the reviews, the service is bad. especially the night crew does not go there at night"
