"This is a difficult restaurant to review. It's clearly one of the best in this small town as it was in a row of shops away from the high street and full of locals. The food was very good, as was the service and the...value, so if you find yourself in Alijo it's worth a visit. Especially as, on a Thursday evening in early September, it was the only one that was open! However, the lighting and ambiance are more like a works' canteen so it's not an atmospheric place to dine."
