"We had dinner here in late August, while staying in the hotel. The restaurant was comfortable with tables reasonably spaced. The menu seemed varied with lots choice. We opted for the 5 course menu with matching wines and started with a gin and lavender aperitif...which was delicious. Service seemed slow to start but as the meal progressed we felt that the timing between courses was just right and we had a very relaxed enjoyable evening. Our favorite part of the meal was the lamb main course – delicious lamb beautifully cooked and nicely accompanied with potato gnocchi amongst other things. The service was friendly and very forgiving of our almost non-existent German. We would definitely eat here again if we were in the area."
