"Sometimes the best places seem like they're in the middle of nowhere. Add Dollar Cone to that mix. On NC 84, a little east of Wesley Chapel, you'll find this fun shop with options ranging from soft serve and milkshakes to sundaes. I tried the Muffin Smash muffin top, ice cream, muffin top, more ice cream, cone, and all the toppings you want. That was a lot of food for $8 but I gladly accepted the tasty challenge. If you like ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes and similar treats come to Union County and leave with a smile!"

"Having grown up in Monroe, the Smithy was always reliable for a great meal. I returned to the Smithy for the first time in 15-20 years last Friday evening with my wife and had possibly the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. We arrived at 6:30 and were waited on by a lovely young lady. Our drinks arrived at 6:40 at which time we placed our order. We enjoyed a salad and patiently waited for our meal. 7:15 rolled around and the waitress assured us it would just be another couple minutes. We ordered another drink and at 7:20 she delivered them and said our meals would be up momentarily. At 7:30 she stops back and repeats that they should be plated any minute. 7:35 rolls around and again she states our meals will be plated shortly. At 7:40 I asked her to bring me a check for what we drank and to cancel the order. After another 10 minutes, I actually had to find the manager on duty to get the check. He simply stated sorry and handed me a check for $48 to cover our 3 drinks !!! I hate to say it but I would find other options if dining in the Monroe/Trumbull/Newtown area. This is NOT the Smithy we grew up with."

"I used to visit Red Robin often. But it has been at least a year and a half since I visited. I've been to the Monroe location once before, so this was my second visit. The entrance to the restaurant is outside of the parking lot by the street. I facing the Fred Meyers I believe. My favorite part about walking towards the hostess desk was the large statue of liberty! I thought it set a great vibe as soon as you walk in! A friend invited me to go hiking at Wallace Falls and we stopped in for dinner. It wasn't too busy and there wasn't a wait to be seated. We met our waitress and ordered. I can't say the experience with our waitress was bad or good. It was just. I ordered a basket of fries and bottomless salad. That was plenty of food for me. I love the fries with the campfire sauce! Although I asked for one more salad, I didn't get it. She asked if i wanted a salad in a to-go box. But I said no. I wish I would've said yes, because that same evening, after dinner, I visited my teenage daughter at work and could've given her the salad. I will probably visit the Monroe, WA Red Robin again."
