"We got takeout. We tried the menudo, hot, as in very warm. It tasted like menudo, tripe was soft, great with all the sides, oregano, lime slices, tiny onions, very hot sauce, and cilantro, tossed in the soup, including corn tortillas on the side, and it wasn't over salted. It was good but lacking something. I did ask for mild. I don't like Tabasco. I love crystal hot sauce so you can taste the flavor of the hot sauce. I think it was missing the flavor of red chili in the broth. The flavor of the chicken in the chicken burrito with no salsa was good. The flavor of the carnitas burrito was good but the meat did not have that twice cooked taste or texture. Carnitas is usually simmered, then pan fried so it has some crisp to the meat. Flavor was still good but it was soft. Both burritos were soft. It's kind of a weird description but the flour tortilla and the filling wrapped up was soft, kind of like having a wonder bread sandwich. Other burritos seem to be stiffer but still fresh. Flavor is good but you have to try it to understand the texture. Not my favorite but I could eat here again."

"Awesome place don't know how in the world I hadn't gone there before. It is a no frills place but the food is awesome! They have both indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter and they bring the food to the table. Lots of the traditional options, seafood, soups, enchiladas, tacos and then some : Today I tried the tres tacos 2 chicken and 1 al pastor. They are the street style tacos so not too big. They also have a grande. The three tacos were awesome! Loads of meat (see pictures was amazed at how much there was great value at 9 and change. The flavors were also very good, spicy but not too hot. They have free unlimited salsas and chips but would caution on going crazy because you need the space for all the good food!"
