"Someone seems to know what they're doing at Don Pepe. You start with standard chips, beans and an excellent mild salsa. The cook decided to add some chorizo to the beans (yum) then bring you a sampler of 7 Salsas of different heat. I was obsessed with the white salsa (cold heat). My wife and I ordered combination plates. They brought us a satisfying trumpet that reminded me of Pho. There were meat in a well developed broth with fresh, crispy vegetables. We wanted both enchiladas and they were well made with right spices, big cheese to sauce to fill conditions. I'll be back. The other article on our combo plates was meat in the sauce. My wife had the Puerco en chile verde (Pork in green sauce). I had the Puerco en chile Colorado (Pork in red sauce). What surprised me is that the pig was perfectly cooked to temp instead of cooked to fall apart. This made it delicate and not fibrous. I'm happy, and I think everything should be partake."
