"Edinburgh meat sky. originally tested for [hidden link] mckirdy’s steakhouse near haymarket in edinburgh is a solid meaty favorite of edinburgh spotlight. if you need a good quality steak with excellent service, there is no need to look further than mckirdy’s. the interieur is intelligent and simple and is fully accessible. we were greeted an evening warm and the dinner menu penetrated (vegetarian options are available for non-meat eaters in a group). my gastronomic partner used for the sirloin steak and the simple maische, £18.95, while I decided for the rib eye steak with Stilton sauce on the side, £16.95 we drank a chilled beer as we waited, but it was served quite quickly, although it was a busy evening service. at the weekend there is a friendly bush, but the restaurant can be a little quiet in the week and lack in the atmosphere. the steak was cooked according to our preference and not much talk happened by one of our lips, as we were on our juicy steaks munched. the quality of the meat is excellent and despite the somewhat uninspirational presentation, I cannot mistake the star of the show. an appointment at the theater this evening prevented us from having time for dessert, but banoffe pier and sticky toffe pudding are among the usual suspects on the sweet menu. we also had the burgers of mckirdy, who are very satisfied, like the chicken dishes, but they are the steaks that my vote will get to visit everyone. mckirdy’s is just a short hop from haymarket station and is perfect for any season, but really popular at pre-rubgy mass, so be sure to book before when there is a event on murrayfield."
