"We got very cold dinner at gong tonight. three children's dishes came so early in front of the four adults, the children were done until the adult food served. two of the adult had sat very long and was very cold. Overall, even when eating was coming together, and was still warm, it was terrible over price. vidanta has been of very good food and services for a reasonable price, at very low quality food to ridiculous trips. sad to see it. the prizes are up everywhere, but nothing like today's $350 dinner."

"Amazing little, inexpensive beach club with a great menu and friendly staff. The beach club has lost a lot of beachfront due to erosion/storms, so it can be a little more crowded now. Still highly recommend to small groups, family, or couples."

"Sipping a Margarita while watching Guacamole being made at my table - can't get fresher or more Mexican than that. Great roof terrace, arty, authentic 'Day of the Dead'-inspired decor, generous portions of fresh produce and attentive staff. Would return."

"Visited Blue Lobster recently and it was excellent! Lobster tails brought to the table, pick the one you want and how you want it prepared and that's it. Simple. The lobster was prepared to perfection and served with veggies and rice with drawn butter and a delicious buttery garlicky cilantro sauce to die for.The Lobster pasta was also off the charts. The only downfall is the heat, this time of year. No A/C. They do have fans and ice cold beers (good selection) as well as cocktails. Highly recommend BLUE LOBSTER!"

"My husband and I have been going to Playa for many years and seen so many changes happening some good some ok but this is a excellent addition. It's located on 5th avenue but above it on second floor so you get a great view you can also sit in the front and they have the windows that slide open but it is smoking area not bad very breezy. They have delicious dirty martinis they come in beautiful frozen martini glasses it's yummy blue cheese. Our server was Juan Luis and Max they were easy to talk to and very insightful had great suggestions. The wine menu is also extensive with so many good varieties. When you are looking at the menus they come around with the cart of different cuts of steaks and all of the different seafoods it just is a little more unique than most steak housesThe portion of the salads are grand enough to share which is good because once you get your steak you will want to eat it all. We had the surf and turf and we split it the portion was perfect and they filet the lobster tail which makes you think hmmmm but let me say it's yummmmThere is also a surprise at the end so I won't give it away and that will make you want to go in and find outAll in all it was absolutely marvelous can't wait to go back I hope Juan Luis and max are still there"

"Just an exquisite hidden place. Very creative cook that really knows how to cook and how to present food. Ambitious menu with many options, but the preparation of each dish seems from scratch. Service is friendly but “proper”. Beautiful beach location with indoor and outdoor seating. The trip is worthwhile even if your hotel is located in Playa del Carmen or near Cancun."
