"Very nice historic hotel.Had a very well done rack if lamb and my wife had a perfectly done steak.We came with out dear sister on law because she wanted lobster and this was portrayed as best lobster in winnipeg. dont eat lobster in winnipegService was ok but not focused. We waved at the the waiter for 20 minutes before we finally stood uo and decided to pay at the counter. The waiter finally noticed us as we were leaving and explained he was catching up with old friends. Who cares.Will not go back I like my waiters remembering i exist"

"I ordered the buffalo nachos. Chips looked like they's been scraped out of the bottom of a chip bag and there was so little meat or cheese on top that most of the nachos had to be eaten dry. For $18 I expected home made nachos covered in great fresh toppings. The poutine was okay but the french fries were greasy and stringy. Again for the price one expected hot, freshly roasted potato fries. Calamari we only ate half because it was so rubbery and there was so little sauce. The flatbread crust was thick and the offering pedestrian. The sizzling prawns were really the only thing I would recommend. I have to say the waitress was very nice and the service good. We went here after a show at the Manitoba Theatre Centre. We won't be going back. Way too expensive for the quality of food you get."

"We tried Hermanos again for the second time recently, again the food was good, I had the 12oz Brazilian Ribeye, which was cooked to near perfection ( Med Rare ), it also had a small bowl of garlic mashed potatoes which were very tasty, I added mushrooms which were good but abit pricey ( 7.00 ). Service was good, the only issue again was noise level, it can get quite noisy when restaurant is full. The end of evening was great, they had outdoor street side patio open which was great. we enjoyed a couple of drinks talking, people watching, and fortunately mosquito free"

"Milanesa Especial my friend had was very good. The “Fresh Bread” is dried out slices of bread, crust ends included, put in an oven to dry them out then serve. Do yourself a favour, take this off the menu. I didn’t see or taste any coconut in the Paella which in my opinion could use some spices. It says spicy but was bland. The payment/debit machine an automatic 20% tip. Hmmmm"
