"We received oysters on time but there was dirt on them. The horseradish on the cocktail sauce was old and dried up. It was almost unrecognizable. We did not receive a plate for our oyster shells. The tofu salad was a large bowl of lettuce that was wet without dressing and 10 cubes on tofu. Another order with fries had a hair in them. The Ahi Tuna was fine but was not very flavorful. An order of fried cod was thrown onto the plate seemingly, not in one piece. Our server was literally running from one end of the restaurant to the other. He was making drinks, clearing dishes, and correcting other orders that were sent back. This reflects poorly on management with the restaurant being understaffed. Our server apologized to us even though we didn’t say anything. He did a good job but service was at its limit. Food quality was good but with the number of staff it was difficult for the front of the restaurant to work effectively with the back and vice versa to meet the demand. It is not a good look especially with a $20 cancellation fee per person. Obviously there is a high standard from the restaurant, it should be reflected to the customer."
