"Food is always 100% and cannot fault them on that. Awesome crispy fried chicken with great sauces, I recommend the soy flavour (the best) and the spicy flavour too. The only issue I ever have with them is a language barrier, depending on who is working. Most of the time I get the tall muscular bloke with great English and is super nice and my order goes well. When unlucky I get a skinny guy who does not really understand much English whatsoever. But $22 for a whole crispy fried sticky soy chicken with a complimentary can of coke and pickled radish, you can't really complain haha"

"Tsuru Sushi Cafe is one of my regular lunch spots in West End. Their lunch deals are cheap, tasty and consistent and their sushi is the best in West End. If you come here, do your self a favour and try the crunchy chicken roll."

"Went into almost empty restaurant to order for pick up, had to wait for minutes and got frozen tuna in sashimi platter. When requested to get a discount for long waiting time and frozen tuna, service personal wouldn't budge, got charged at the same...rate as dining-in. Salmon sushi was good."

"Sushi fans will rejoice in Tokyo Express' selection of rolls and sides and even though they've lost the old train, it has really improved on its décor from a few years ago. The food is always tasty and fresh and well priced for the serving size. As any Japanese cuisine regular will know, soy sauce, wasabi and ginger are vital to any sushi dish and luckily Tokyo Express keeps all three in close proximity to each seat. Even though some items like the dim sims and calamari rings seem a bit out of place, they apparently appeal to more simple palates that may be flagging extras in your group. Staff are sometimes a bit overworked, but always friendly and polite. Overall, Tokyo Express is one of my favourite casual sushi joints with a cheaper price range."

"This restaurant is one of the reasons I decided to sign up and write a review. I've been around West End for a long time and many of the places we used to enjoy have sadly been closing down lately due to the number of new cashed up restaurants opening.<br>

I would say this is one of those; two of us attended and had different dishes, we were excited to have a Ramen/Noodle shop open and had both their Tonkotsu Ramen and Prawn Tempura Udon (I can't see the latter in the menu anymore though).<br>

The Tonkotsu which we assumed would be their signature dish was extremely average, there wasn't really as much of a Pork based taste as there was just plain overly-salty broth, noodles were unimpressive as well, Pork also very average. Nothing to be excited about, even if it wasn't bad you have to consider that their price is relatively high. If you want good ramen PLEASE stick to Hakataya in any of their shops, it's so infinitely better in every sense: taste, quality, quantity...
