"Typical pub meals if you like that sort of thing. I had the top of the line Porterhouse steak ($27) which was advertised as 'melt in your mouth'. Far from it. It was overcooked and fairly tough. A complaint seemed to go nowhere. Other meals (rissoles, Parmigiana, burgers) were quite good. Deserts were just OK. Have had much better elsewhere. Service was friendly. May go back, but will not go for the supposedly great expensive meals."

"Have been one of my favorite places for years. It is a bit expensive and staff barely speaks English and does not know their own menu. But the food is awesome! I would even say incredibly inventive rolls."

"I was in the area looking for a place to have a quick lunch when I came across sushi railway. Wow! I was pleasantly impressed. Delicious and very fresh sushi at a very VERY affordable price. I tried 4 different types of sushi and the fish was very fresh (no dark colours, no funny smells), they also didn't over-do the sauces and mayo as well. This place offers plenty of options and if you are not happy with whatever is on the train they will cater for your request. However, I don't think you need to order sushi... in all honesty this is one of the most varied sushi trains I've been to. It's not exotic sushi but what you get is variety and the beauty of simplicity. I'd highly recommend this place if your budget is under $15-$20 per person."

"Very sweet little hole in the wall. eating is good and the service is always great. they do a boba tea for which to die. I always get the Japanese curry that is very tasty and her gyoza is amazing. Huhn is a little low-fat quality but still good."

"I was there last Monday 12 pm the train was empty 3 maybe 4 dishes I thought maybe is to early . I order off the menu Chef whit out uniform and alone...meal arrive was nothing straordinary anyway I left at 1/30 pm still 4 dishes on train. Once upon a time was good"

"In case you haven't been to a restaurant like this, the idea is simple. You sit around the horseshoe shaped counter along which runs a small 'railroad', onto which the chefs who are busily at work on the inside, regularly add a newly made disk. Dishes are colour-coded to indicate the price, which varies a little, but I visited at the weekend when all cost the same. The selection changes all the time and, we soon found out, you can ask to have something made that is on the menu but not currently on the 'railroad'. What was remarkable was the quality of the food. For a modest price four of us had a delightful and varied dinner with sushi, sashimi, tempura and more. The chefs were eager to show off their creations and would explain what they were if you asked. I believe there are others in the chain but this was the only one I came across. The only downside was that the drinks, beer, wine or sake, were over-priced."

"Service is good, not the freshest sushi. I just feel it wasn't normal. the tuna sushi is in the round a paste that it did not like at all. the curry was okay, but the garnels were afraid they would reject. they seem to be big garnels for a long time, but they are actually only very small garnels joined together and I think they were frozen. they also get the vibe of the place is quite unclean (as the stainless steel was never wiped off). not the best will not return."

"This is one of my regular coffee haunts. They make the best iced long black coffee. It is dog friendly. The interior is air conditioned and a bit quirky."

"The only magic is they still work. A trick in itself. Rice over boiled and sticky chicken shoyu Raman is tasteless. Much better options. I questioned court and advised very quickly that refunds are not available. Not that I... asked! Zero for the food value. Negative score for service if possible. Whole points to stay open would Houdini be impressed!"
