"Excellent Japanese oriented food. Very tasteful, clean and privacy minded rooms (they ask you to remove your shoes for some). I had a Chicken teriyaki bento box which I completely finished. My girlfriend had a Chirashi plate (assorted raw fish with sushi rice and veggies) which she loved. The atmosphere was a bit more intimate because of some privacy and the lighting and all of the staff wore masks, I don't remember seeing a lot of restaurants like that recently so I was very happy with my service."

"Eat here for 11.5 years and eat always well. I would say the best Japanese food near Bangor-Brewer. the owner and his children were very nice. they always recognized us. Too bad the owner changed soon, but he will keep everything the same, including the cook in the back. I love the appetizers, sushi, sashimi, main dishes from this restaurant. the price makes sense. a thing I would change is that the new owner wears something to cover his long bart. he works directly with the sushi production and customers can see him directly. it is not professional at all and feared to order the sushi/sashimi only if the haare falls from its bart."

"All is great its pretty clean food is good. Price not that bad. There is or was if he does not work there anymore a great guy who works there allways in a good mood. He's a great employee Only thing I would suggest is having the crab legs out at dinner would be nice. Or breakfast lunch and dinner. I miss those"

"Don't let the inconceivable façade fool you. this modest food that is fucked in a strip next to a dollar store, captivates by the best sushi I had for years. the inner is tastefully decorated and the tables are beautifully spaced apart. the service is fast and friendly and the menu is extremely extensive. many sushi and sashimi offers, but also other Asian specialties. a friend and I shared two rolls, one salad or two, crooked rangoons and thunfish and salmon sashimi and everything was fresh, tasty and expertly prepared. hot green tea and a gurkenmartini accompany our meal. I am happy to find such high quality sushi here in bangor."

"I agree with the previous review- excellent vegan sushi options, including brown rice for the Maki reels. I ate at green tea with a mixed group of nutritional preferences, and all were very satisfied. I was insecure when my asking about vegan, no mayonnaise or fish in the miso suppe were understood, but I left myself on edamame and the 3-Koch-Maki dinner that was more than filling out. I would definitely return if I were back in the opposite. I liked the seating options that contain the bar area or semi-private rooms along the side."
