"Japanese food locally can be hit and miss sometimes with questions about the absolute freshness and value for money. Not so at ITSU. We popped in for a light lunch and were absolutely knocked out by the scrumptious food, nigh on instant service and a spotless friendly atmosphere. The place seemed to be full of very happy people all enjoying their lunch or popping in for a carry out. However in view of the Japanese obsessive attention to detail I have two minor complaints. The sushi boxes do not contain a container or small dish to pour the soya into. So I was reduced to decanting my seaweed to free up a soya dunking dish. And unless you have a Samurai sword about your person the wasabi sauce sachets are utterly impenetrable."

"Eating was ok and I would come back, but they needed a long time to serve when I dined there, even for something simple like a miso suppe. the personal is polite. the fresh sushi is quite expensive, with its “warm” sushi, which is a better value for money. I enjoyed the latest, but rather purist sushi. the warm rolls are all the crab stick based, and I wonder why so much is cooked by their sushi."

"Small Japanese restaurant in Hove, UK. The business is run by a very friendly Japanese family with a very calm energy. The place is small, with lot of natural light and a very familiar atmosphere. The sushi, maki, etc, are extremely delicious. You must try the aubergines and tofu dish, it is top notch . A highly recommended restaurant with reasonable prices for a Japanese restaurant."

"Recently I visited here with my sister shortly after the opening, which is a beautiful place. the food was excellent and all the staff very friendly and friendly. the bar is really welcoming and I didn't want to go, all cocktails were well done and we enjoyed the whole experience. we will definitely visit again as soon as we are back in brighton! I would recommend to everyone to come here"
