"Thomas Shin and Sylvia Lee wanted to bring authentic Japanese cuisine, crafts, beer and people together in a trendy and casual atmosphere. On 28 March 2014 they opened Dami Sushi Izakaya in the new village of Buena Park on the beach shopping center. The mall is similar to Diamond Jamboree in Irvine – many Asian restaurants and shops. The restaurant is cozy with stands, tables and sushi bar. The menu was created by Executive Chef Jun Kim and Executive Sushi Chef John Yoon, along with culinary experts Chef Yoshihiro Matsumoto (owner and Chef of Sakura House in Marina Del Rey) and Joanne Chung (international menu consultant and food stylist)."

"This was a great experience. The wait was minimal and the waiting staff was very attentive. If you love sushi and have an appetite I would hands down recommend AYCE! Their selections is amazing with tons of cut and hand rolls, sashimi and a variety of starters. The whole restaurant has this great ambiance with cool wall art and great music. Will definitely be coming back!"

"Food and service was good! I'd definitely come back. All I had was good except the shu mai LOL. Idk, why I did that. I noticed that the service was bad, but we had no problems. There were only 2 servers on the ground, considering that there was a whole house, I think they were very attentive. The only thing is that I allergic to avocado in the allergy box, but I still have avocado in my role. (Make my fault because I didn't notify our server either. But it wasn't a big deal. I just picked it up. Thanks for the good experience!"

"It is all they can eat, location, so I give it a laid review. two dishes were still dirty that I received, so I give it 4 stars instead of 5. the salmon was ok, but in any case ready to order a quantity, as the sizes are smaller than expected. it was good everywhere."

"Not available customer service. the rules of the store seem to change depending on who they are talking to. a dame refused to give me the vacation discount and mislead me in those who believe there was none. I had to call another aritaum store and when I came back to get the discount, they refused to reimburse the difference and gave me conditional business credit that could only be used in this special business. they make the return or the exchange of a product to an absolute nightmare. they are very thoughtful before they make a purchase here. there is no telephone number, so if they have a problem with a particular business, they have no recourse. if they want sulwhasoo, they go north. they offer 25% discount during black friday and have free returns."

"Last Friday they were busy, and I had to wait for about 25 minutes to get a table. The food is good as usual. I like the shrimps. It's good to taste. It's just $21.99 a person for a seafood buffet. Prices are reasonable."
