"I was ready to go from the front in the waterfront, beluga, sevruga .the list continues. but nothing comes close to the experience I had in this wonderful restaurant. the service is like nothing I have ever experienced, the entire personal she treats as family, and put the customer at any time and eat. there is even a cake to explain it. fresh sushi, as if it was just caught by the ozean, oh and did I mention that they made their own nude? if you want to take a partner on a date, take a customer for a business meeting, take her family for lunch or dinner for sushi at a great price for everything they get. that's the point, I can't stress that enough. visit us! they will not regret it!.infact I can almost guarantee that they have been looking for"

"After having a bad experience at a previous Ocean Basket, we have not been back in a while. But when my partner's mum was here we had to go our for some seafood. We had never been to this Ocean Basket before, but was pleasantly surprised. The staff are amazing and super friendly, the food delicious and delivered to our table promptly and we even had dessert!<br/ <br/ All the fish and other seafood we had a bit of everything, including prawns, a platter for one and a fish and calamari combo was fresh and cooked to perfection, and was really enjoyable to say the least. <br/ <br/ Never had dessert at Ocean Basket before, so did not know what to expect. We chose the chocolate lava cake and flip it it was absolutely smashing. Super sweet perfect for my sweet tooth perfectly oozing when we cut in to it, and was so nice and warm for such a cold evening. <br/ <br/ Absolutely perfect night out and we will be back again!"

"The food was amazing and the owner is so lovely. But there were 3 waitresses at the restaurant with such horrible attitude. The waitress with draids was not part if this. 1 waitress served us in the duration of our dining.When it came to the payment we got our slip in which we split the bill. We already gave a tip but then they aksed for more tips and in the confusion of calculation as young people they extorted more than the required 10% tip.We asked about the extra tip money but they replied to us in bad attitude and sarcastic comments. After we gave a tip and didn 't want to give more they said to us 'if you don 't want to pay tip you can go to McDonald 's '. We were the only customers there at that time but the waitresses they had poor customer service, one waitress served us but three came to our table while we 're paying. Please respond to this review so that I know that you have seen and acknowledged my review, and hopefully there will be future changes taken into consideration for future customers."

"My partner and I moved from Tableview to Monte Vista recently. We've been to Jacky's at least 4 times already for take aways! Will definitely be back, maybe this time round for their sit down buffet menu!"

"Popped in for a snack and a glass of wine after the work day. It was quite vibey despite it being a Wednesday evening. Food was great albeit a bit overpriced. No doubt , will re-visit when we’re back in Cape Town."
