"One of the best Japanese food we had in london. the prices were more than reasonable and the portions are large. You should eat here. [long version] eating: we first had the yuzu yellowtail tiradito. the first mouthful I and my partner had, we looked at us and said this type of aromen could be served easily in fine restaurants. very complex sweet, sour, and a small beautiful hauch of spiciness on it and then the yellow cock tasted so fresh. not a bit of slimy/fishy smell or taste. then we had the mixed tempura. there was no ordinary diving sauce and we thought it was a little sad, but when we had our first bite, it was so crispy and tasty that too much sauce would ruin it. you could really taste the fresh of the garnish. my partner and I think the right Japanese cooks pay attention to the detail, so we check how they prepare their food and delivered it. the tails of the garnels were completely clean without black markings at all and the sweet was also so fresh. we also had the pork catsu curry, which had covered the whole bowl with the pork fillet and a really powerful Japanese curry sauce (very tasteful)[no photo, as someone a better, that is justness]. the chef and the place: to be honest, I found out that this restaurant it was early in the morning (it was closed) past our bus stop, and I checked the reviews(high). I thought we'd come by later in the night. they said that they do not make reservations because it is really a small place (especially takeaways,) with bar like setting (the tools fed along the window and along where the cook sushi prepares) and 1 small table on the side. we went to dinner later and were surprised that there was not a single Japanese staff at the place, I even saw outside to check if we were at the right place. So we're like, okay let's just order, we're already here and once we tasted it, we loved it. we talked to this sri Lanka cook and asked how his food tasted so well and we all had a good laugh. he has been on the Japanese fine dining field for 25 years and he wanted to start his own small restaurant with cheap, but qualitatiw high quality foods. we talked about Japanese food for 2 hours, and how they store, prepare and present their food. they even showed us that they only use the highest quality ingredients to the salt they use for sushi. These young are beautiful people and they are also highly qualified what they do and they need the recognition. thanks for the beautiful meal. it was a pleasure meeting you.
