"If they are in flag and want a bomb fresh sushi, they come to sakura and see zenthen. he makes some amazing rolls that are always so beautiful with the presentation. the spicy thunfish, spider roll and seaweed octopus salad were on the spot! so amazing! he always has creative delicious specialties. highly recommended."

"If you are there before dinner time it is a good idea, otherwise you expect a little wait. My friends went around 5 and sat right away. We have a wrong soup and about 5 or something. My favourite is the Golden State Roll (fried California Roll). Good price, but it was hard to get the attention of the waitress because it was pretty busy up to this time. It was a good separation between the four of us, I think it was about $12 each."

"Went here for a late lunch on a Saturday. The food was great! I had the Thai Noodles, which were really flavorful and had quite the kick. The Steak Frites dish also had tons of flavor, but the fries were my favorite. The Ceasar Salad was also really good (especially the croutons). They dont list anything as GF or Vegetarian, but they do have an impossible burger and you can get a burger wrapped in lettuce. The Thai noodles were made with Tofu unless you wanted to add an additional protein. It did take quite a while for us to get our food, and it also took a long time to get the check. Overall, the food was worth a second visit though."

"We eat teppanyaki often in the valley. We don't go for the show because it's the same thing over and over. We go for the food! However, we recently visited Flagstaff and had Chef Scout. What a show he put on!! Great personally, the food was perfect and the service was great. We'll be back for sure next time we head to Flagstaff!!"

"I have shaved in the past about Hiro’s, another very good sushi restaurant in Flagstaff, but Fuji, after a slightly rough opening a few months, has become my sushi standby. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is that their cooked food — reasonably delicious lunch time Bento boxes and noodle dishes — is simply not as tasteful or as diverse as Hiro. But on the sushi front? Mmmmm, it's all so good! Well made, fresh and with some nice inventive specialties. Fuji is my impulse lunch off, and one of the spots I'm really happy to go for dinner."

"We had a very bad experience with food and staff. The guy who attended our table had no training in customer service. I’m assuming there are two people who make the sushi. Unfortunately we had a younger guy behind the counter making sushi. The rice in the sushi completely lacked flavor. I’m a huge fan of sushi and sashimi and anything Japanese thanks to my grandparents and cousins having lived there. The wasabi was bland so we asked for the real deal and we’re told it costs $3.00. We happily agreed because we love the real root grated and completely understand the price. That crushed “wasabi” that came tasted more bland and flavorless. Cannot be real wasabi. And to make matters worse they were unapologetic when we mentioned that. And the worst part was the presence of flies. Pictures posted. I’m never going back. Karma sushi wins anyday"
