"The view: surf observers will like to see Mavericks when it breaks out of the second story full window view, and everyone will love the sunset over the Jedi. The food: is the kitchen and a welcome option for the fried fish taverns that surround this Japanese-French bistro. The fusion kitchen is well done here... They are either at the sushi bars or at a table with thoughtful French-Japanese dishes. The beverage cooler including Saki was a cool touch and could help you create a to-go beach sushi picnic on the right day! Many gluten, milk, soya free options here."

"I love this place, but... I have to sit in the sushi bar if we have not made reservations for tables that empty the ENTIRE time we are there. We live in the city center and sometimes we just walk around and roll into a place, usually around 5 or so NOT lace dinner rush. I mean, we pay the same price as the tables, so we really can't put SOME spontaneity? Okay, that said the food here is FRESH and only one taste bomb after the other. Favs are: Kelp-Salat, Miso-Soup, ANY Sashimi: Gyoza (Buffsticker, Pig-Knödel, ANY Sushi; Rolls: Dragon, Caterpillar, Hot Tuna (YUM! Spider, New York, Ebiten....one day we will come to other items on the menu, but after all these years we are still on the reels....!"

"I've bookmarked Yume in Alameda for a while but never got a chance to go and heard that they closed. I found this place from the old Yume Yelp and I'm so glad I tried it out. This place is located inside of the Impressions restaurant, 2nd floor. I made reservation through their Facebook page. Plenty of parking and the view is gorgeous! Usually when you do omakase, they will serve you with some soups and light appetizer plus dessert. Here, it's strictly nigiri. You get 12pcs of nigiri for $90 and you can order extra supplements if you'd like. The nigiri is pretty big so we were full after the 12 pcs and only ordered extra toro. Love all the fish we tried and love all the background story about where the fish is from and some history on why he opened this place. I wish they give some dessert in the end, but other than that, we're satisfied with our meal!"

"Everything about the dining experience was incredible! The cuisine and presentation was beyond our expectation! We were able to enjoy every course without feeling rushed and spent a few relaxing hours there. An added bonus was meeting the chef, Florent Courriol at the end of our meal!"

"Our family had an amazing 4th of July celebration at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay. The resort is just an hour's drive from the San Francisco Bay Area and we fell in love with it instantly. The service was exceptional, and the hotel staff, especially Manuel T. and Jay M. at the front desk, made us feel welcomed. Being Marriott Platinum Elite Member, we were upgraded to a room with a coastal view and received a warm welcome from Marlene, our guest relations coordinator. She surprised us with a lovely welcome amenity that included delicious chocolate-dipped strawberries, cute Ritz-Carlton mascot plushies, personalized cards, and a bottle of Red Cabernet Sauvignon. Marlene went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. In addition, the housekeeping staff, particularly Aracely P., provided excellent service and made sure our room was spotless. We were impressed by their eagerness to ensure everything was perfect. Overall, we give the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars. We can't wait to return in the future. 5/5 Stars"
