"This place a gem of Manhatten Beach. I love Japanese food and I went to Japan for food as well. This place serves top notch grade Japanese food including sashimi, sushi, tempura, etc. The sushi men here are proud of what they make, and it shows on their food. Definitely recommended place if you want to eat real Japanese food."

"We have been patrons of this establishment for many years and it has been a favorite primarily for the locals, which I am. Unfortunately service and quality have lately not been as good as in the past. Our teriyaki chicken was decidedly rubbery, not having been prepared fresh but seemingly rewarmed. The server forgot to bring the rice and the tempura dipping sauce having awkwardly to flag down and ask someone for it. With the salads it appears that the quantity of dressing is skimpily provided. Also in recent times we felt that the server was not that particularly friendly to a degree that we start feeling uncomfortable. We still like O-Sho Restaurant and hope to have again better dining experiences. The local patrons are loyal, supported this restaurant throughout the hardship of the Covid-19 pandemic, the owners and staff should appreciate this."

"This is probably one of my favorite Sushi Restaurants of all time. The ambiance is perfect for my tastes and the selections are out of this world!One of the reasons why I love this place is that some of the dishes are real pieces of art. As a designer I really appreciate how some restaurants really put in the extra effort in the aesthetic aspect of their dishes.When ever I go there I always blow a TON of cash because of it lol. The food and drinks are top notch so it's all good.When I went last I had a server in training and both the trainer and trainee were both excellent. Really love great service. I also tried something new which was the Kobe Beef roll. Never had that before. It was different and quite delicious.They also still have the Covid barriers/table/booth separators up too so if you are a little nervous about going out that might offer a little comfort.Anyways, don't take my word for it, when you're in the downtown napa area definitely give Eiko's a shot!"
