"We went for Saturday lunch and it was one of the worst meals we’ve had. We ordered some small plates, 2 hot chicken katsu meals and a mini katsu for our toddler. The duck bun came out and the duck looked like tuna. Almost not cooked and very unappetising. We asked if we could change as it wasn’t pleasant at all which they did. Next was a vegetable gyoza which arrived with a lovely long black hair on. Again this was taken back and exchanged. Our Katsu’s arrived and the order had been done wrong, only one was hot. By this point we didn’t want to say anything else so we just kept the meals as is. When our toddlers meal arrived this is where it became awful. The chicken they served him was either raw, or as the manger told us ‘tough’. It was like eating rubber. By this point we were extremely distressed, the thought of feeding our toddler raw chicken was awful. After telling the manager she again said it would be changed, by this point we had a screaming toddler who wanted his food and couldn’t understand why it was taken away. Initially we were offered the meals to be taken off, as the whole experience was awful we said that wasn’t particularly good enough and we’re offered free desserts. We politely declined. The manager then informed us there was 20% off added. By this point though we were totally off our food and pretty much left it all. As the manager accepted payment and saw the food left over they asked how it was and we said it wasn’t great, as you can tell by all the food that was left. Still no hint to offer anything else, so we were left to pay £35 for the joy of this terrible meal. I don’t usually leave poor reviews, but this was just next level. If you take your child we’d recommend trying their meal, not every baby/child might react how ours did and you might not know."

"Looking to grab some takeaway lunch as I had heard about this place a lot, though I went a bit late in the day and could only grab the tofu-masala pasty, which was pretty good when heated up the next day, but not something I would pick again. However I would recommend trying out their own house made tofu, I bought some of the maple tofu and that is absolutely delicious when grilled! I had some in a sandwich with tomatoes and vegan mayo and it was amazing! If I came back (unfortunately am not local), I would love to try out their sandwiches, but if you get there too late, do make sure to take some tofu back with you!"

"Really impressed. my children loved it. try the Vietnamese garnel and the mushrooms. pity that this place must close after the brexit, because we cannot get enough food into our country. the staff was also very friendly. I hope brexit will be cancelled so they can still work here."
