"Menu is very seafood heavy, which also means pricey. Great place for a business meal I suppose, but not sure if it would be my go-to for premium Japanese fare given the many options available out there. The more affordable stuff that we ended up ordering is not too bad."

"Sushiya previously known as Ichiro. The restaurant moved to the newly renovated building in 1U. Although the price is slightly high, the quality of the food is up to par, sushi are fresh. Very efficient and friendly staffs. Always my favorite go to for Japanese in 1U."

"Good customer service as most of them are very friendly even towards newbies that has no experience in what to eat , my partner just said were new and the waiter instantly helped us with what to do and everything. The food is just good but not too good , but maybe that 's just my tongue, my partner did say the place could have a much broader range of food as theres really not much. The main choices was goat or cow so choose between those and pick up the side dishes yourselves. Oh and the place is not taking cash for the time being so prepare other ways to pay. The internet kinda slow for me there umobile . The place is clean and they will clean everytime before serving u to a table."

"More spacious place, do not have much sushi in the train, can make fresh, love their mentai lachs don, preferably the lachs with mayo sushi, but abit dissapointing, as it fragments in really tiny pieces. total good, fast service"

"Having lived 10 years in Japan, half of that time before my vegan transition, I'd describe myself as a decent judge of quality when it comes to Japanese food. Compared to Supe, Shiang Hai's sushi (maki and Californian rolls, to be precise) are/seem not simple in their approach and taste. In a good way, for the most part: taste is pretty much what you would expect from a maki or Californian roll. I only tried the avocado roll, but I'm looking forward to have the other options as well. On top of the sushi, I tried the mushroom curry, it was very nice. Overall, a very positive experience. I'll go back eventually. On the negative side, service could be warmer, and the menu, like in most vegetarian eateries in KL, would greatly benefit from clearly label the vegan options."

"The food reminds me of the one i had in Japan. Why only now i know about this restaurant? Definitely one of the best japanese food i ever had at reasonable price, the fusion is amazing too the owner was friendly, explaining about his menu to us, definitely will come again"

"First time I came here, it was already late (9 PM) so there was no queue at all. I came here alone and was attracted to its ad 'All RM 2.99 per plate. With consumption of 5 plates or more. '<br/ <br/ Challenge accepted!<br/ <br/ Although I ended up having 8 plates (4 for me, 4 for my imaginary friend), there is still room for development for this resto.<br/ <br/ But let 's start with what I like first:<br/ the variety of sushi is wide<br/ lot of sushi available in the belt, so you dont really need to see menu<br/ taste is acceptable.<br/ cheap<br/ the manager (you 'll know why)<br/ <br/ What I don 't like:<br/ the portion is small<br/ the waiter. It took them 5 mins to greet and show me the seat, although the room wasnt full. I was standing there waving, tried to catch their attention to allow me in.<br/ the waiter. They forgot to ask me to order drink, gae me wrong order. I also had to wait for 15 mins until my orders came. Remember, it wasn 't full house.<br/ <br/ As I observed, apparently this branch is still lack of waiters. They only have 2 multi tasking waiters who are also cashier and cleaner. Although the chef was like a squad! There was so many of them, I don 't know why.<br/ <br/ So grab the manager 's attention. He 's more responsive and will help you get your order faster. And don 't come during peak hour. It will make your dining experience miserable.<br/ <br/"

"We dropped by for lunch and found that this restaurant has a pleasant decor. There is a section with low tables like a traditional Japanese restaurant. They serve a variety of sushi, noodles and rice based dishes with creative names like Black God, Curly Noodle and Rainy Day. The mango sushi and Rainy Day, which is a mee hoon soup dish, were excellent. The line and nutmeg drinks were good too. Service was friendly and the food took some time to be served as sushi is only prepared when ordered. The restaurant is located on the first floor and reachable by a flight of stairs which makes it inaccessible to wheelchair users. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the food. Worth a future visit to try other items in their menu."

"Love the vegan sushi here, they're delicious and not too expensive. We ordered a Milky Way , it's a spaghetti with a Carbonara like sauce , it's amazing with lovely decoration. And the service here is extremely on time, given that their food are order to cook method, their foods are fresh and prepared with natural ingredients. You can find helpful leaflets on the tables telling you how to prepare your vegetables before cooking, which is very detail and thoughtful of them. Very nice touch Love this place , highly recommend it !!"
