"We enjoy the Marina and the meal we had last evening was excellent. My only observation was that the table we had it was virtually impossible to read the menu with out picking up the small candle and holding it over the various options available. Dining ambiance is important but so is having enough light to read the menu and then be able to view one's meal. Nothing wrong, from our perspective, with the menu albeit it would have been helpful if we could have read it. I ordered a rack of lamb which was superb and I would have enjoyed more had I been able to see what was on my plate . We usually have dessert at the Marina but decided to forego another course in semi darkness."

"The place was full by 5:30 p.m. on a weeknight so we assumed this must be where the locals eat. A small dine-in restaurant with good efficient table service. Food was good but the chips just OK and coleslaw quite boring. If looking a good fish & chip dinner in a hurry this place will do. Certainly not the best Fish & chips place in Victoria."

"I always thought of Nautical Nellie?s as a tourist trap but after going here for their new brunch launch, I have changed my mind. The food was actually really well prepared, the flavours were balanced, the dishes were different and interesting and theowner and chef truly are trying to show Victoria how much they care. Prices were reasonable and in some cases lower thancomparable restaurants and cocktails and non-alcoholic choices were also well made. I?ll be back for brunch again for sure."

"My friends live close to the gates of China Town so this location is great for a quick take away! The yam roll and salmon sushimi are soooo good here!! It's nice for dining in too, as I recall they have a sushi pizza!"
