"Shhhh! Do not leave the secret about this little Poke-Ramenplatz. It's going to my local neighborhood for dinner when I'm tired of working all day and don't want to cook home. A nice way to change the meal of the week. You have two satisfying Maki-Sushi reels California and spicy tuna to go with ramen or as a side for the Poke dishes (if you can not get enough of this refreshing bowl. For the poke shell they have a few options and combos along with an assortment of add-ins. Take the miso soup if you ask if you want it, it is free and you will not be disappointed with the miso shot before your head or as a hunter. The raven is a generous part. asost.are (has come over a small bowl), and is taste intense. You.offer sorted options for adjusting your taste profile. The broth is tasteful, without being salty. The noodles are perfectly cooked and hearty, so that the broth adheres to them. The place is small, but perfectly clean. So much, you can smell the lingering effect of the cleaners (purification for victory). They also offer dessert, large ice macaroons that are a decadent treat; many flavors to choose. There are days when a simple menu really is the best way to go. You can focus on quality and taste profile. For you ramen afficionados, this place can be worth a stop when in the area. In the meantime, your herms bowl can overflow with taste and satisfaction."

"New Japanese restaurant that replaced Akasaka. I came here two days in a row and has very different experiences on each day, so I'll split up my comments into both days. Day 1: I came around 8PM and missed the Happy Hour, but they gave us 15% off a deal that ends on 5/7 . Food- I ordered a Chirashi bowl $15 and a spicy tuna tar tar. The tar tar was delicious! The chirashi bowl was interesting.. I expected more salmon pieces but received more tuna than anything. There was only 1 salmon piece that was half of the regular piece. The bowl looked way too big for the fish. Anyway, the sashimi was pretty good quality. The seaweed salad it came with was so little, I was a quite disappointed. The only issues were that 2 of the bento box with 3 items came 20 minutes before my chirashi bowl. You'd think sashimi would be really fast to come out but I guess not... Another thing was the music was quite loud and it didn't really fit the restaurant vibe. Oh and for a Japanese restaurant, I'd expect soy sauce plates already provided but we had to ask for that which was also separated from the wasabi . It was quite strange. Day 2: We came here for Happy Hour this time! The beers and sake were $2 Asahi and Sapporo and the sushi rolls were BOGO. Food- We ordered seared toro roll and a lobster roll. The lobster roll was baked and delicious and the seared toro was amazing! Would totally recommend both of them. We then ordered bento boxes with 3 items. It's such a good price for unagi, sashimi, and beef teriyaki. They also provide you salad, miso soup, and an orange! The portions are LARGE, we were able to take most of it to go. Overall, totally would recommend, come during happy hour, take advantage of the bento box. Day 3: Shout out to Daniel for hooking it up with my very picky order : PS- Iced green tea is tasty!"

"The waiter(older lady) which I believe is owner’s wife is very rude. I was ordering my food and I got California rolls bc I’m not the biggest sushi fan, and she looked at my sister and said sarcastically you too California rolls. My sister said no, and she ordered what she wanted. I also ordered a coke and my sister ordered a water. Then she said “miso soup?” It was my sister and I’s first time there so we said I am sorry what? Then she said “miso soup free free”. Then she walked off, so I assumed she was going to bring us the miso soup. In conclusion, she never brought my coke or the miso soup for us. I saw her bring miso soup to all the other tables around us, so I was confused why she didn’t bring it to us. She never asked us for refills or anything. Then this lady has the audacity to give my the bill with a coke on it. I told her politely I never got the coke, and she said okay. Not even a I am sorry I forgot it. Nothing. Then I told her as I was about to pay excuse me is there a reason I didn’t get miso soup, and she said “you don’t want it” in a defensive way. I told her “you just said miso soup free free”. Then she said well you want it now in a rude way. I said no. Then I paid my bill and did not leave a tip. Horrible service by the waiter. First time there and she was rude. I have been a server for 5 years, so I know how it is to be a server. Never going back."

"Great little place . The sushi bar is closed since Covid, so you can only order the Susuhi to your table. Quality is good. Some of the portions are a nice size, and the some are too small. That part I do not understand. The price is fair for what you get. Service is good, and friendly. I do recommend they open the Sushi Bar again as that is most of the fun is at the bar watching them make your order, and you expect a Sushi bar at a Sushi place. Yes, I highly recommend this Mom Pop Sushi place. Very quaint and pleasant place to eat."

"This place has been our #1 sushi/sashimi place in LA. Although it's is a bit pricey, you do get quality food and fresh dishes. Chirashi bowl, sashimi combo, grill miso black cod are our favorite dishes. Definitely recommend.
