"I went with my cousin. very nice restaurant, good reception. dishes are good enough but cruelly lacking generosity especially for the price. I took an entrance and a dish that was how I had just eaten an entrance and she opened my appetite, but for the prices it is not worth it. Another restaurant for this price fills you well the stomach. small detail not also appreciated, it is the waitress who comes several times to lift your bao basket to know if you're done, the reaction may seem a little intrusive, it would be more polite to ask us but good it's a detail. at the end disappointed and remained on our hunger."

"Ici les clients « smartbox » sont des invités de marque…… En fait, et après observation, tous les clients sont reçus avec la même élégance courtoise.Un accueil à la fois chaleureux et très professionnel. Nous avions réservé, bien sûr, et lorsque nous sommes arrivés, tout était parfaitement organisé pour nous accueillir.Le sourire du patron et des serveuses, leurs explications concernant les plats proposés, nous ont tout de suite mis à l’aise.Quant à la cuisine, elle est remarquable : fraîcheur des produits, variété des parfums, associations originales des saveurs, très bon équilibre des quantités, tout était fait pour nous rendre parfaitement heureux.Le service était également à la hauteur, outre la gentillesse des serveuses, l’efficacité tranquille et attentive était également au rendez-vous. Aucune fausse note… Le patron, charmant comme dit plus haut, est venu plusieurs fois, mais avec discrétion, s’assurer que tout allait bien et que nous appréciions le repas.Bref, « que du bonheur !!! »… Un instant magique dans le quartier de Belleville que, par ailleurs, nous affectionnons particulièrement…Le GUO MIN est un restaurant qui, non seulement vaut le détour, mais aussi le retour.À conseiller chaudement.Et merci à toute l’équipe."

"Carte simple et facile à lire. Les portions étaient TRÈS généreuses sans sacrifier la qualité des plats ce qui est appréciable. Frites maisons, viande cuite tel que demandé (difficile en France pour les gens qui mangent la viande bien cuite). Service rapide mais nous étions seuls dans le restaurant donc pas forcément représentatif d'un service habituel. Personnel sympathique malgré ma mauvaise humeur qui n'avait rien à voir avec le restaurant! La prochaine fois je reviendrai avec mon sourire."

"This is quite an unusual chinese restaurant that is a change from the traditional cantonese we know. Spicy food from North-East china, the meals are cooked with dry chilis. I tried the pork or chicken pots, the taste was good and left you with a burning sensation in the mouth, just enough to keep you wanting for more without burning the tongue. The tiny dumplings are also something to try. Overall very nice address for adventurous people. The place is tiny but quite cheap. You come for the food not the decor."

"Having lived in Beijing two years this place is authentic. Complete with Mandarin spoken in the north. What seems like arguing is just a normal conversation. The wife had sweet and sour chicken with stir fried noodles and spring roll. I had rice with pork and duck. Delicious!"
