"We shared a meltdown burger and chips for dinner. <br/ <br/ It's not a bad fast food burger. The sauces are applied judiciously and are not too sweet, which allows a better balance of flavours than other places (I'm looking at you Angusburgh). The only downside is the bun is a little too thick relative to the insides. Still, we enjoyed it more than either Velvet or Angusburgh. <br/ <br/ The chips are nicely cooked but quite heavily salted, so if that's not your thing let them know when you order. <br/ <br/ Store was clean and nicely presented. Staff were very nice."

"I was very worried bout dining here after reading the last few reviews and I am pleased to say I should not have been! Place was clean, service fast, polite, and friendly. They took my birthday cake out of the plastic container and placed it on a lovely platter and even dimmed the lights when the brought it out with the candles going! Lovely yummy food and good value and like someone else said, I don't like sweet and sour pork but theirs was yummy!"

"The chips weren't very crispy, but the fillet of sole was good. You get a lot of food for your money. This fish and chips shop is more about the fish and chips, less about the shop. Not really an atmosphere to speak of in the dining area, but that wasn't a problem for me since I had ordered takeaway."
