"Singapore Hawkers has been our go to Singaporean, Chinese and Hong Kong style restaurant for 15 or 20 years now and it's always hit the mark with the quality of food and so much so, that I'm happy to recommend this to all of my friends, family and acquaintances, which as far as Asian restaurants go, I can only say the same for one other restaurant in Perth.My personal favourites are the Won Ton Mee Dry aka Char Siu Mee with fresh char siu pork and the best noodles in the best sauce and overall a better dish than what you get at the Noodle Forum in Perth and for my tastes is better than anything that I got in Singapore and Malaysia on my last trip. Sometimes the char siu pork can vary in quality and although consistency is of utmost importance, it's rare that their pork is less than good. Just make sure that you ask for extra sambal on the side, so you can adjust for taste.Along with their Won Ton Mee, their Squid Tentacles are also world class and are always crispy and not over-battered like other places. The blend of flavours is perfectly balanced for my liking and many of my friends that I've recommend try them, also agree that they are some of the best that they've had.The service isn't great but acceptable and the prices are good too. The place has just undergone a renovation, so it doesn't feel like you're in some back street restaurant anymore and there's usually lots of Asians in there which coming from me an Asian too, is always a good sign.I really enjoy the Lor Bak too and their BBQ offerings of roast pork and duck and their Laksa is a winner too. I'm not a big fan of their Mee Goreng or Char Kway Teow though but they're still quite good. The soft shell crab is nice and in the same ilk as the squid tentacles, the Patagonian Toothfish and the Sweet and Sour dishes are also worth a look.Cheers and enjoy!"

"Regularly go here. Never disappoints. It's the same distinctive freshness every time, that distinguishes it from so many ordinary restaurants. For example, I compare the Singapore Noodles between here and elsewhere. At Foo Win, it tastes just as it should: that it just came out hot and smoky from a wok that's been seasoned through cooking a thousand dishes, and again that freshness.The black bean combination is another winner. The sauce is just the right intensity, without the stale excess saltiness you find in too many places. And here's another example of a great way to test an Asian restaurant: try a prawn. These are King Prawns. It's all in the texture (resilient to the bite, not just chewy and "old"), with a clean taste - freshness again.I could go on, but you get the message. I don't understand some of the negative reviews I see. Yes, occasionally the service is slow when they're busy, but hey, live a little (longer). The people are delightful; we've been exchanging pleasantries with the owner for literally decades now.Go there; it's the place we recommend to friends and family."

"I have had takeaway from this place a few times and thought the food was good but a bit expensive. Tonight for the first time I dined in ... never again and never again for takeaway either. Absolutely no service our empty dirty plates not removed, very pricey with small serves, weird having owner sit at table next to us staring, waitress did not attend table after meal so were not offered and could not order coffee or sweets 8.30pm at the time .. but the signs on the back of the dirty toilets was the nail in the coffin."

"The food was terrible, for a tilting house there are hardly any dumplings on the menu that we ordered, tasted as if they had filled with edgy and were chewing. the restaurant looks tired. the half of our order has been forgotten, and when we were asked, 20 minutes were bought after all the others. if they make one like, they don't waste their money here. maccas is a better option than this dump"
