"Looking for a lock-down treat we spotted the Britannia was open for takeaway. Sadly it didn't impress, although I guess one shouldn't be too harsh as these are difficult times. The starters were very bland and the batter fly prawn' positively rubbery. The pilau rice...tasted simply boiled and unseasoned, and although I found a cardamom pod in it, that too had no flavour to it! The main Arabian Lamb was tasty although not in the least bit spicy, and the chicken dish also had less bite to it than the mildest Korma. The side of aloo felt like it had been made a fortnight ago, and both naans my keema and her peshwari we so overcooked they were like popadoms in the centre and again had no taste to them. Very disappointing."

"While we caught a move on holiday. not very easy to park outside, but we'll be worth the effort. the curry was quite delicious, but the chow my has stolen the show for us. we also had sweet and sour very sweet, but not sick, chicken hack suey, with whom we were good, not a highlight, but not bad. and prawn toasts were a nice supplement. if we come back to the opposite we would be back!"

"Go here quite often lovely phone manner great staff very helpful great portions food is often on point but meat sometimes rubbery sweet and sour is like melted wine gums! not as savoury/salty as other chineses malasian skewers lovely tempura kings prawns superb chicken curry is nice cantonese chicken lovely"
