"Found myself in Huddersfield Town centre with a colleague. Haven’t been or eaten there for ages so wasn’t familiar with what was on offer. Found this spot which was pretty empty and ordered beef with Chilli and Sweet and Sour chicken from the very simple and very inexpensive menu. Flipping delicious!!! Why is this place not packed? Perhaps it is on an evening/weekend. I hope so."

"Best Chinese food I have ever tasted, wans have been here for about 45 years and still as good as ever. Beautiful people, nice eating, they do not believe the bad review, obviously they do not know what good eating is. the wans will make their lust food that I ask for spicy beef curry, and they supplement extra chilis for me, always with a smile to serve and deliver them. they are the best."

"This is now The Taste of China and has been refitted out and under new management. We have had several takeaways and they have all been very good. Telephone order taking is very efficient and you get what you order at the price quoted. The food is well and freshly cooked with good ingredients and tasty. Our last delivery was quoted as 45 minutes and arrived in 55 which was not bad as we are out in the sticks. Parking is easy if you are collecting. It now seems quite busy and popular and is well worth a try. Nothing like it was in the old days!."
