"Tried this place twice. First time my husband ordered a curry which was pretty good. On the strength of this we ordered a big meal for people last night which was appalling. Ordered selection of starters. Two different sorts of spring rolls which turned...out to be pancake rolls so dripping in fat that one completely collapsed in the bag and couldn't be eaten, they were mostly just filled with underseasoned beansprouts and inedible. Was told one sort would have prawns in, but only a few flacid bits of what could have been chicken. Sesame toasts were thick with a rubbery, presumably prawn, but who could tell, layer and so oily which none of us could eat. BBQ spare ribs were ok as was the crispy seaweed. Our mains were all disgusting. Chinese pork chopsuey with only beansprouts and onions in, no other veg and meat had none of that red tasty seasoning that makes it Chinese style, was fatty and disgusting; tasteless and flacid chicken with cashews with just beansprouts again; duck in plum sauce which turned out to be duck in pineapple and so fatty it was inedible; chicken with ginger and springonions was edible and that's about it. Rice and prawn crackers were acceptable. Our food recycling ate well but we didn't. Would not use again. Didn't go back to complain because where do you start, and do I really want to gather all our opened cartons and food on plates and take it back to show them?"

"The last 35 years have taken many Chinese. all let me wake up at 3 o'clock with a great thirst (msg) had a few meal here and they were fantastic. very friendly staff and all the time. will only be for. my Chinese food from now on and it is a 12 miles round trip."

"Local small town Chinese takeaway. I've ordered from or called in at this business on numerous occasions. The lady who runs the place is always very pleasant. Home delivery service available within about 5 miles. Prices are quite reasonable. The quality of the food isn't wonderful can be very inconsistent. Their chips can be like granite because they're so overcooked. Better than no Chinese takeaway but only just! They could really do with sorting out what goes on in the kitchen. On the 27th March 2015 Sindy's Kitchen was awarded an optimum food hygiene rating of 5/5 (very good)."
