"Every year we return to the Fort Lauderdale area and make a point of eating at the Orchid Café. The Luncheon specials are great. My wife likes the salad with their peanut sauce dressing. The specials come with soup or salad. Probably the best Massaman Curry we have had and the sweet sour is fresh meat and vegetables with a taste sweet sour not like the Chinese style sweet and sour. It is the best Thai in the area."

"I and my queen wife are not Chinese food fans, but once in a while we try something from this Far East Food option. This time we got Bourbon chicken and noodles with broccoli for me, and my wife tried the special rice with sweet and sour along with an egg roll. It wasn't just delicious, it was affordable."

"I wanted some Chinese food so decided to give this place an attempt after reviewing the reviews. We ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Young what was excellent, the sauce was light and very tasty. We also had the Sweet and Sour Shrimp. They use large shrimp with a light dough fried to perfection. The wrappers they use on their egg rolls and fried dumplings are thicker than what I use, and while ok I wouldn't order them again. The biggest disappointment was the cold sesame noodles, something they definitely don't know how to do. It tasted as if they had only taken some hot noodles and added them peanut butter. Fortunately, I was able to save them by mixing a quick sauce."

"Wow! The hot and acid soup was the best we had and the curry beef soup even got the thumbs from our seven years old, which is a great compliment given as Picky can be. Service was very friendly and prompt and be careful that you are not overdoing as the portions are as I am in old fashion Chinese restaurants servings of when I was young.... Your dish will be large enough for you and for everyone at the table will have a generous sampling. Orange chicken was several cuts of the breast, beef lo my was a large bunch of noodles with lots of meat and the shrimps in the shrimps with cashews were enormous. And the prices were very reasonable. We recommend this."

"Family owned restaurant, best Chinese food in Pompano. Staff is friendly and the place is very clean. Open kitchen, we can see the cookers working. They delivery up 5 miles. Right now, only take out and delivery, dine in closed. Best food: egg foo young, pork fried rice and wings."
